Arizona shooting tragedy

it seems this guy was a nut who came unhinged. Yet the left are already politicizing this. I went to find information on the shooting, and I was bombarded with anti-right propaganda.

in fact I saw one message that said "First they spew their hate, now they pull their guns... my democrat friends, please understand this is serious. if your neighbors supported conservative candidates, keep your doors locked cause they will kill you eventually." and this guy was serious!!

I even saw someone call tea-partiers Murderers. that's why I've decided to post on this site after having not posted in over a year. I'm so sick of liberals trying to push their agenda by using a horrendous tragedy that ALL are grieving.

I mean, Seriously? A child was murdered along with other innocent civilians, a federal judge was murdered and others including the congresswoman are fighting for their lives... and the left are already trying to politicize this.

here's a few facts for any liberal that may read this...

1. The congresswoman was republican at one time. She became democrat because of her pro-choice stance... however she is pro-2nd amendment, pro-border control, anti-bailout and pro-congress pay cuts. she basically was democrat but had many conservative views as well.

2. The federal judge murdered was appointed by President BUSH. A REPUBLICAN president

3. The guy lists his favorite books to include the Communist manifesto and Mein Kaumf. not something high on a republican's favorite list. Most conservatives are anti-communist propaganda.

4. The shooter did not believe in God as it is stated he made mention that he was angered at receiving a bible at a recruitment center, and he stated he would not put his trust in God. Most conservatives are God fearing people.

5. He claims the government is mind controlling the public through grammar...

So how can you say this was conservative/tea party caused? She was as conservative as is possible for a democrat, the judge was appointed by a republican president, and this guy seemed obsessed with grammar and communist writings...

this guy was a nutjob who came unhinged. Read some of the crap he's released. It's neither conservative nor liberal in thinking. It's lunatic in thinking.

so how is this tea party? It makes me want to cry that the left (especially on MSNBC's comments page) are using this tragedy to push their anti-right agenda. this isn't about right, it isn't about left, it isn't about up or down, it's about a nut job who came unhinged and murdered a bunch of innocent people and put many more in the hospital to fight for their lives, and they need the prayers of ALL Republican and Democrat, conservative and Liberals and if (some, not all) liberals can't see that, and see this only as a political ploy, then I'd say "shame on you" but they have no shame.

I pray for her family, and the families of all the victims as well as for the victims still bravely fighting for their lives.

I wish we start a recall/impeachment effort and force them into the unemployment line like their constituants who hired them to fix this mess the DEMS caused. (not Bush... THE DEMS.)

Fanny and Fred started it all... the republicans came to the senate with their concerns... the Dems replied with "if nothings broke, don't fix it. Things are fine." Now they're trying to blame the republicans for what happened to the economy??

What happened to the billions of jobs that were to be created if we passed Obama's spendulus package... NOW?

What happened to the credit card company help? after the shit I went through with one of my credit cards, and after I got a letter from all my cards saying my interest rates are going up... thanks for the help Obama.

now we have this health care bill.

This bill that IS going to pass, is a disaster.

Is this bill pro-choice? No. At least not in the way you think. If you're PRO abortion, this bill is for you. If you are anti-abortion, then this bill says screw you. You have the right to choose to murder an innocent human being... but they take away my choice... MY RIGHT... to not support murder, by taking my hard earned money and using it to fund abortions. What about my rights? what about my choice to be against abortion?

they say "abortion is not going to be federally funded" yet they refused to add the stupak ammendment which is worded so that it can not be snuck in. So... in otherwords, eventually they'll re-word it so abortion is funded by my tax money.

90% of abortions are after the fact birth control, not medical emergencies or rapes... just dumb (usually) teens who feel like doing what feels good, to hell with the conciquences. If you're too much of a slut to keep your legs closed... YOU pay to murder a child... I shouldn't have to be a part of it.

They're praising that it's going to cost under a trillion dollars... (Like $60,000 under a trillion is such a deal), but like they admit... this estimate is only a GUESS. So more than likely it will cost OVER a trillion.

They are taking away our right to decide what kind of insurance we want, if we want to get any at all... by threat of jail and high fines if we don't do as they say.

There are also stipulations that sound suspiciously like they want to tell people how to raise their kids. What's next? telling them how many kids they can have?

No one has really read this bill, not even the President by his own admission... Pelosi the moron that she is, claims we have to pass the bill... THEN we can know what's in it. Seriously? Isn't that backwards... shouldn't we KNOW what we're getting into and if it's actually good for the country BEFORE it's passed?

The dems that were on the fence have turned their no votes to yes votes. How? Strong arm tactics and bribery basically. In fact, one so much as admitted he was a no till Obama hosted him on Airforce One. One recently admitted Obama promised to work on Imigration reform if he votes yes... In this bill are all sorts of special deals for states whose politicians would have otherwise voted no...

To get this passed Obama and Pelosi both admitted they'd piss on the constitution. (not in so many words) The constitution isn't a suggestion for God's Sake!! Do you realize if they can't bribe or batter enough people into a yes vote, they'll just Deem it passed?

Deem it passed. Do you know who deems things to be done... Dictators, Monarchies. The constitution was created to separate themselves from the Monarchy. Its the whole point of voting, majority rules and such.

All they talk about is how "historic" this bill will be. They're more worried about their legacy than they are about the people.

The majority of Americans (even those who believe in health care reform) say, scrap this bill... start over, and this time, no closed door meetings, no telling republicans "you broke this, we don't want your help fixing it", no more shutting out the media from these meetings, and the bill should be available for more than just 72 hours before the vote.

but no. It's not about the people. Its about a legacy.

Um... how is that going to change? Many of the items in this bill are federally funded. Who funds the feds? tax money. who pays tax money... I mean... Freakin DUHHHHHHHHH

This is insanity! I mean, serious insanity... it has to stop. I hate to wait till november to kick them out of office. I wish we could fire them all now, send them to the unemployment line, and impeach Obama for pissing on the constitution.

No longer calling it a "war on terror", hows that working?

In November, a Muslim Psychiatrist at Fort Hood opened fired and massacured fellow American Soldiers after yelling "Allauh Akbar".

In December, a Muslim who claimed to be trained by Al Quida... was able to get on a plane with a bomb before he was caught.

Now there is breaking news.

Around the same time as the attempted bombing of a detroit bound plane... 5 Muslim American soldiers were arrested for the attempted poisoning of the food source at Fort Jackson which could have killed fellow American Soldiers.

I've also learned from a news report that the "Fort Jackson 5" were allegedly in contact with 5 other DC area Muslims who traveled to Pakistan to declare Jihad against US Soldiers there. (They were arrested by Pakistani police).

And yet Obama wants to close down Gitmo and refrain from using the phrase "War on terror"?

Seriously, how's that going for ya?

Texas Plane Crash - Suicide Pilot NOT Right-winger

We've been bombarded by the left wing media using the suicide/murder/murder attempt of Joseph Andrew Stack as a way to attack the tea partiers once again. They claim he is proof of how dangerous "tea baggers" are, and how loony the far right have become.

There's one problem with this sumation... and it lies in Mr. Stark's suicide note.

1. He mentioned hating Bush many times
2. He mentioned hating big business and greedy CEOs
3. He mentioned hating insurance companies and big pharmacuticals, claiming they were responsible for the 'murder' of millions of people in the name of profit
4. He mentioned hating organized religion, especially Christianity (catholics specifically)
5. He mentioned a quote that puts a positive light on communism and a negative light on capitolism.

THIS IS THE LIBERAL MANTRA!! Big business bad, big bad pharmacuticals and insurance companies bad, Capitalism bad, Communism, Socialism good, Religion/Christianity bad, Bush... anti-christ.

His rant was as far left as Pelosi. Hell, Bill Ayres would be impressed.

I don't know of any pro-communism/socialism, anti-religion, anti-big business, pro health care reform, Bush hating Tea Party goers.

As you can see, Obama over and over said the surge wasn't a success, the surge was a failure, the surge would make things worse.

I did something I rarely do. I watched MSNBC to see how they're covering the recent election.

this is what I got out of Olbermann

2. Scott Brown is pro violence against women

3. Scott Brown isn't conservative, he's playing the center

4. He only won because Obama supporters didn't come out

5. He only won because the majority of voters thought the Health care bill isn't radical enough, because the majority of voters are pro-health care reform... including a public option and such.

ok, well if he's homophobic, so are the majority if Americans. Sorry to disappoint you - but when brought to a vote, the majority clearly state they want to keep the meaning of marriage as between a man and a woman. In fact, it's not even a close race... it's an overwhelming majority, as we saw in California, a very liberal state.

as for pro violence against women? Oldman cited a rally where someone yelled that we should shove an iron up Coakley's rear. Once again, Olbermann agreed with an eyeroll that it was possible he didn't hear it. (once again they forget the rule that just because it's picked up by the mic of a person standing next to the dufas, doesn't mean everyone else can hear it over the crowd, especially with large crowds such as he pulled, as opposed to the crowd coakly was pulling.)

However he said, even if he didn't hear it, he should denounce it now. Where were you to denounce Sandra Burnardt when she said if Palin came to NY she'd have her gang raped by "her black bruthas". So Scott Brown is playing center? Well if you think he's homophobic... how can he be center? He's not playing up to the pro-gay marriage voters. If he's playing center, how come he keeps saying he's Scott Brown 41... the 41st vote AGAINST The health care bill. He didn't say he was pro reform only not what they're offering... he said he's pro-killing the bill completely.

Which brings me to his point that Brown was only picked because the democrats aren't radical enough on the health care bill?

Really? So... the people want more... they want abortion in the bill, they want the taxes coming with the bill... they want the removal of Medicare from one state to pay off another so they'll vote for the bill... they want a public option.

That's why they voted for someone who said he's the 41st vote to kill the bill completely. "We want more, so lets vote for the guy who says he wants nothing at all! yay! that makes so much more sense than voting for the one who will at least vote to pass SOMETHING through!"

Not to mention... the majority of people WANT this reform? Seriously? That's why Obama's approval started tanking during the Health Care fiasco. The people have spoken

they downplayed the people speaking in VA by kicking out the democrat in office. They downplayed the people speaking in NJ by kicking out the democrat in office. They downplayed the people speaking in NY when the democrats almost lost in a race that was too close to call when they thought it would be an easy double digit win...

now they're trying to downplay Brown's win in MA, a Kennedy/democrat state for how many decades?

Rachel Mad Cow on PMSNBC is talking about how there is already evidence of voter fraud and how Brown's use of Robo calls was underhanded, slimey, sleezy election techniques.

Really Mad Cow? So... it wasn't voter fraud when Frankenstein won by more votes than people actually live in Minnesota? It wasn't voter fraud when democrats recounting the votes kept saying... "They voted for the republican, but I'M SURE they MEANT to vote for Franken, so we'll count this as Franken's vote"?

I've come to the conclusion...

Liberals are completely delusional.

I was watching the View... (nothing else was on) and they were talking about how Barack Obama gave himself a B+ for his first year. Of course Elizabeth thought he was delusional for giving himself that grade, and the other libs, especially that loudmouth Joy Boar, had to prove THEY are the ones who are delusional.

They go off on how Bush did this and Bush did that. I think they forget... ITS NOT BUSH'S ADMINISTRATION. and if Obama isn't a magician and nothing is his fault... well what about Bush? He wasn't a magician either, what makes Obama's job so much harder than what Bush inherited?

The black woman on the show, I can't remember her name... said "My unemployed friends are thankful to Obama for extending the unemployment benefits."

Well ONE... why are your friends unemployed still? Where are these millions and millions of jobs Obama PROMISED would be created if we passed his stimulus NOW? and what about those who were not eligable for extended unemployment benefits? (The extension did not effect those unemployed before a certain month, I think September or October... they did NOT get an extension.)

They keep talking about how he worked miracles when it comes to jobs. HOW? Because we supposedly went from 10.2% to 10%?

ok... put your brains back in your head.

1. we went from 9.6% to 9% then jumped to 10.2% so just because we go down a few percentage points does not mean things are improving, as we proved when we jumped passed 10%.

2. how did we drop .2% the jobless rate when over 11,000 MORE people became unemployed in November, and even more than that REMAIN unemployed?

3. Wasn't it Obama who PROMISED if we pass his trillion dollar stimulus like, yesterday, that we wouldn't see above 8% unemployment?

sooooo... lets take a look at the girl's logic again. where exactly did Obama work miracles in the jobless situation? Oh that's right, he didn't cause it's Bush's fault.

It's Bush's fault a stimulus everyone said would fail and just put us in a bigger deficit actually failed because it was rushed through. It's Bush's fault no one in the senate read the stimulus bill, or the current health care proposal thouroughly.

here's another request to look at things logically.

our unemployment rate under Bush was under 8% and held steady under 8%. Obama came in and said... if we pass his massive spending bill, not only would we create jobs, we wouldn't see unemployment reach 8%.

The spendulus passed and unemployment SKYROCKETED and continues to rise (despite how they fudge the numbers with this jobs 'saved' crap.)

that's not Bush. we held steady under 8% with Bush. He also made no promises unemployement wouldn't go up or down. Obama took over and made so many promises that he couldn't keep.

under Bush we went to Iraq, and now Iraq is a less dangerous place than Afghanistan, in fact, recently, Afghanistan has seen days deadlier than Iraq saw at the height of the war. Iraq was Bush's war, Afghanistan is Obama's. Bush's general had confidence in Bush... Obama's General was starting to threaten that we are in "mission NOT accomplished" danger.

Everyone complained about Bush's going out and golfing... in his first few months... Obama had more Golfing vacations than Bush had his entire presidency...

Bush took advice from the people he hired to give him advice... but he also listened to the people... Obama doesn't listen to anyone. The stimulus everyone said would fail... the health care plan no one but libs want... Bush kept a lot of promises he made whether you liked them or not... Obama hasn't kept a one. Job loss is passed 8%, he didn't bring the troops home as he promised, in fact he sent them all to Afghanistan, forget about not taxing those making under $250,000. With cap and trade, with carbon taxes, with the new health care bill... everyone and their uncles are going to get taxed.

Lets talk about the promise of this being the administration of transparency.

Closed door meetings shutting republicans out

remember the photo op of him saluting the caskets of dead Iraq war soldiers? Do you see any photos of the Afghanistan dead?

The majority of his cabinet is made up of extreme liberals (9/11 conspiracy theorists, and those who support the man/child love orginization)... the rest are Liberals. (What happened to there being room in his administration for republicans?)

I mean come on.

This stopped being Bush's fault the MOMENT Obama made promises about the economy and job rate... and forced his stimulus plan through without giving anyone a chance to really look through it.

Those brash moves made this OBAMA'S economy, OBAMA'S Administration, and OBAMA'S problem. It no longer has ANYTHING to do with Bush.

So for all of that, those liberal mouth peices on "the View" are just as delusional as Obama who claims he deserves a B+.

Bleak outlook for Sen. Dodd

As further proof the Government Run Health Care bill is a big mistake, let's look at Sen. Dodd's current outlook for re-election.

In a current Quinnipiac University poll, Sen. Dodd is losing to Frmr Republican congressman Rob Simmons... 49% to 38%

Former WWE exec Linda McMahon is also leading Dodd, 43% to 41%.

And since supporting the Government Run Health Care bill... Dodd's disapproval rating is 54% to 40% approval.

So, they lost VA, they lost NJ, they almost lost (and still could possibly lose) NY-23...

now it looks like Dodd could be out of a job.

of course Dodd's camp says this is bunk and that his work for Health Care has done nothing but strengthen his campaign...

but we all know THAT is what's bunk.

Perhaps the Dems should not celebrate yet.

The democrats claimed the race in VA and NJ didn't matter, that they were just "local races"... yet they celebrated the win in NY-23 like it was vindication for Obama.

Here's how they are delusional.

1. in VA, they were so impressed with the Obama mania that they went from red to blue in one election.

However, after everything that's been oing on... Private businesses being taken over, Job loss at a 20 year high, Government health care being forced down our throat with the threat of jail if we don't assimulate...

They went back to red in a Republican sweep a few weeks ago. Over a third of VA's polled said they were "sending a message to the white house". What message do you think that is? Electing all republicans and outsing the democrats?

2. In NJ they expected to win, especially since NJ is so liberal, and has been run by a democrat for as far back as one can remember.

They lost to a republican. Yet, the democrats don't seem to see that "message".

3. The one race they're celebrating that actually matters to them... NY-23... two reasons they shouldn't celebrate just yet.

a. They expected to sweep the race with double digits... they expected to completely shove the conservative's face in the dirt... yet the race was actually only a 3 point spread. Enough to ask for a recount.

b. the count for the race continues... and the Dem's lead narrows. Now there is only a 3,000 vote difference between him and the conservative nominee, with 10,000 absentee balots to count.

while the Dem may still come out on top, it will be by an even narrower margin, which means... they couldn't even easily win an election that should have been a no brainer for them.

that spells trouble whether they want to see the writing on the wall or not.

they better think long and hard about that in the senate cause this Health care bill could put them in line with all the unemployed waiting for benefits.

They lost VA who were Obamanuts during the 2008 elections... they lost NJ who is usually so liberal... they almost (and could still) lose NY-23 in an election that should have been an easy win.

Instead of saying how wonderful it was to win NY-23, you should see how close the race was, and how much closer its getting as the absentee balots are being counted... and say to yourselves "Wow, we need to think about this before the white house goes red in 2010."

What's in the HC bill

The health bill that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi brought to a vote, and passed on Saturday (H.R. 3962) is 1,990 pages. Here are some of the details you need to know.

What the government will require you to do:


• Sec. 202 (p. 91-92) of the bill requires you to enroll in a "qualified plan." If you get your insurance at work, your employer will have a "grace period" to switch you to a "qualified plan," meaning a plan designed by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. If you buy your own insurance, there's no grace period. You'll have to enroll in a qualified plan as soon as any term in your contract changes, such as the co-pay, deductible or benefit.


• Sec. 224 (p. 118) provides that 18 months after the bill becomes law, the Secretary of Health and Human Services will decide what a "qualified plan" covers and how much you'll be legally required to pay for it. That's like a banker telling you to sign the loan agreement now, then filling in the interest rate and repayment terms 18 months later.


On Nov. 2, the Congressional Budget Office estimated what the plans will likely cost. An individual earning $44,000 before taxes who purchases his own insurance will have to pay a $5,300 premium and an estimated $2,000 in out-of-pocket expenses, for a total of $7,300 a year, which is 17% of his pre-tax income. A family earning $102,100 a year before taxes will have to pay a $15,000 premium plus an estimated $5,300 out-of-pocket, for a $20,300 total, or 20% of its pre-tax income. Individuals and families earning less than these amounts will be eligible for subsidies paid directly to their insurer.


• Sec. 303 (pp. 167-168) makes it clear that, although the "qualified plan" is not yet designed, it will be of the "one size fits all" variety. The bill claims to offer choice—basic, enhanced and premium levels—but the benefits are the same. Only the co-pays and deductibles differ. You will have to enroll in the same plan, whether the government is paying for it or you and your employer are footing the bill.


• Sec. 59b (pp. 297-299) says that when you file your taxes, you must include proof that you are in a qualified plan. If not, you will be fined thousands of dollars. Illegal immigrants are exempt from this requirement. (What do you think this means?????)


• Sec. 412 (p. 272) says that employers must provide a "qualified plan" for their employees and pay 72.5% of the cost, and a smaller share of family coverage, or incur an 8% payroll tax. Small businesses, with payrolls from $500,000 to $750,000, are fined less. (What do you think will happen as a result of this provision???????)


Eviscerating Medicare:


In addition to reducing future Medicare funding by an estimated $500 billion, the bill fundamentally changes how Medicare pays doctors and hospitals, permitting the government to dictate treatment decisions.


• Sec. 1302 (pp. 672-692) moves Medicare from a fee-for-service payment system, in which patients choose which doctors to see and doctors are paid for each service they provide, toward what's called a "medical home."


The medical home is this decade's version of HMO-restrictions on care. A primary-care provider manages access to costly specialists and diagnostic tests for a flat monthly fee. The bill specifies that patients may have to settle for a nurse practitioner rather than a physician as the primary-care provider. Medical homes begin with demonstration projects, but the HHS secretary is authorized to "disseminate this approach rapidly on a national basis."


A December 2008 Congressional Budget Office report noted that "medical homes" were likely to resemble the unpopular gatekeepers of 20 years ago if cost control was a priority.


• Sec. 1114 (pp. 391-393) replaces physicians with physician assistants in overseeing care for hospice patients.


• Secs. 1158-1160 (pp. 499-520) initiates programs to reduce payments for patient care to what it costs in the lowest cost regions of the country. This will reduce payments for care (and by implication the standard of care) for hospital patients in higher cost areas such as New York and Florida.


• Sec. 1161 (pp. 520-545) cuts payments to Medicare Advantage plans (used by 20% of seniors). Advantage plans have warned this will result in reductions in optional benefits such as vision and dental care.


• Sec. 1402 (p. 756) says that the results of comparative effectiveness research conducted by the government will be delivered to doctors electronically to guide their use of "medical items and services."


Questionable Priorities:


While the bill will slash Medicare funding, it will also direct billions of dollars to numerous inner-city social work and diversity programs with vague standards of accountability.


• Sec. 399V (p. 1422) provides for grants to community "entities" with no required qualifications except having "documented community activity and experience with community healthcare workers" to "educate, guide, and provide experiential learning opportunities" aimed at drug abuse, poor nutrition, smoking and obesity. "Each community health worker program receiving funds under the grant will provide services in the cultural context most appropriate for the individual served by the program."


These programs will "enhance the capacity of individuals to utilize health services and health related social services under Federal, State and local programs by assisting individuals in establishing eligibility . . . and in receiving services and other benefits" including transportation and translation services.


• Sec. 222 (p. 617) provides reimbursement for culturally and linguistically appropriate services. This program will train health-care workers to inform Medicare beneficiaries of their "right" to have an interpreter at all times and with no co-pays for language services.


• Secs. 2521 and 2533 (pp. 1379 and 1437) establishes racial and ethnic preferences in awarding grants for training nurses and creating secondary-school health science programs. For example, grants for nursing schools should "give preference to programs that provide for improving the diversity of new nurse graduates to reflect changes in the demographics of the patient population." And secondary-school grants should go to schools "graduating students from disadvantaged backgrounds including racial and ethnic minorities."


• Sec. 305 (p. 189) Provides for automatic Medicaid enrollment of newborns who do not otherwise have insurance.

Bottom line, if enacted, YOU WILL UNQUESTIONABLY PAY MORE for health insurance be it on the government program, or through an employer, and it is hard not to believe that the QUALITY OF CARE won't suffer dramatically.

Folks, this DISASTER has gone to the Senate. THIS MUST BE STOPPED. I suspect that what will happen is that the Senate will try pass "something", it will go to conference, and then it will be re-introduced using the "rules of reconciliation" in which case, it can pass without debate and a simply majority vote in both chambers.

Contact your Senators, and contact ANY Senator with a "D" by their name as well as Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, and even John McCain while you are at it. (Repubs)

A word of advice for pro-HC bill democrats

Before you democratic senators vote on this HC bill remember a few things.

1. Most of people who can make or break your career... are against this bill.

2. VA who was so pro-Obama that then went from red to blue... was retaken by republicans this past week. a third of voters said their vote was to 'send a message to the White house'

3. NJ who is fairly democrat and has been led by democrats for decades, went republican... and not by as small as a margin as dems predicted. (In fact, dems predicted THEY would win.)

4. NY wasn't that big of a win for you. The predictions were for the democratic nominee to win by double digits. This was a too close for democrat's comfort 3 point win. It was so tight that there is a message there for Dems. You even had a hard time winning a 'sure thing'.

5. 2010 is a big election for ya'all. if this hc bill goes through, I see many voters taking the VA route, and voting to 'send a message to the White house'... and you'll be the ones paying for it.

You will be joining the 10.2% of unemployed.

Jobs saved and created... Belony

DOOM GLOOM... 'if you don't pass my TRILLION dollar stimulus plan NOW' DOOM GLOOM 'we have to pass it now' RUSH RUSH HURRY HURRY 'if we pass the stimulus plan now, we WON'T see an increase of unemployment past 8%.' DOOM GLOOM

So Obama Got his way and the stimulus was passed before anyone had any idea what was in it. (Like millions of dollars going to pay off teacher unions, and millions of dollars going to pay off ACORN, and hundreds of thousands of dollars being spent on studying radioactive rabbit poop)

It was suppose to be the miracle. it was suppose to be our savior... it was suppose to create thousands upon thousands of jobs and save countless others.

Yet here we sit at 10.2%... the biggest job loss rate since the 80s.

Yet Obama can sit there and look the American public in the eye and tell us he's created so many jobs and saved so many others... despite the fact people are still getting laid off from their jobs... and remain unable to find employment.

So how can the government claim they created all these jobs? Here's how. This was recently discovered.

In Ohio... 6 (TEMPORARY mind you) construction jobs were created for this one project.

There were 5 construction workers, and one site manager.

They looked at the number of hours worked each day... and multiplied that by the number of days/months the job was going to take.

Lets say these 6 worked 14 hours a day, and it will take 3 months (which is about 91 days)

Instead of saying these 6 people have a solid 1200 HOURS of work... they're saying they created 1200 JOBS.

it is suspected that, this is why the number of jobs "created" is going up, while the number of gainfully employed continues to decrease.

Another thing they are not saying about these "jobs created" is that the MAJORITY of them are only temporary, and once the jobs are over, the workers will once again be unemployed.

As for jobs saved... that's just plain stupidity and anyone who buys into it are just plain dumb.

Do you really think the government goes from job to job to job and asks "If but for the stimulus, were you going to lay workers off?"

And I guarantee you no business would offer that information unless asked, so how can they truly and accurately account for jobs saved? They can't.

HC Reform passed the house, God help us all

I'm one of the few on the web who is against this health care bill.

Did anyone really pay attention, or do you just follow as you're told by Obama and Pelosi?

I've declared my official independance from either party a while ago since I think the republicans are a bunch of Rhinos like that "republican" from NY who dropped out of the governor's race... she was pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, and fiscally liberal. Putting an (R) behind her name doesn't make her a true republican... The republicans have become a party of (insert female anatomy here. I'll accept boobs, and even the P and C words.)

Republican use to stand for conservative core values... Now they're just a tad right to liberal. (There are a few good'ins in the bunch like Wis. Representative Paul Ryan...) but those good'ins should break away and start a strong third party or throw out the Rhinos from the republican party.

I'll say this for most Dems, I don't agree with anything they stand for (the stimulus, pro-choice, the healthcare bill), at least they stand for something, unlike Snowe who claims to be a Republican but then supports democratic legislations that the majority of her constituants does NOT want...

But I digress...


and I think Liberals are just off base on many accounts to the detrament of the people... as seen by this stimulus that just put us a trillion more dollars in debt without having any positive effects on our jobless rate.

I don't like the republican party, I don't like the democratic party. So I don't believe either one when it comes to anything unless I do my own research.

In the early stages, parts of the HC bill were accessible to the general public. Because people started reading it, Pelosi passed a measure that stated NO parts of the bill will be accessible to the public. (Transparency for you.)

However, I got to read parts of the original bill before it was pulled. I also listened to what people had to say about the bill on both sides, including what President Obama himself had to say.

As early as today... the HC bill passed the house and is moving onto the senate.

what is in the bill?

By the democrat's OWN ADMISSION... they stated that the health care bill will cover 98% of Americans without health care. (BTW, it's not as cheap as ya'all think it's gonna be. For a trillion dollar bill to pass, it's going to hit in the pocket books of every american.)

For small businesses that can not afford to offer healthcare, or choose not to, there is a hefty fine.

for private citizens who can not get into a health care program due to costs or pre-existing conditions, but refuse to sign up for the government run option... there is a hefty fine. (past what someone in my situation could afford.) Can't pay the fine? You'll have to do the time (jail)

the original bill mentioned a tax increase of 2.8% on citizens who HAVE insurance they are happy with... but if it is not Obama approved... they will be taxed. So in otherwords, you can keep your doctors and insurance if you're happy with it... but we'll politely tax you into reconsidering.

This isn't made up... this is from the mouths of the democrats themselves.
There are many references to end of life care in the Obama bill. Obama has made reference to the fact that a doctor should have the right to tell a patient that a surgery is not going to work, and give the patient pain pills and end of life counceling.

the woman's mother needed a pace maker, she was 100 years old.. she had a joy for life, but one doctor said she was too old and the surgery would be detramental. A second opinion got her that pace maker... AND SHE LIVED. She's now 105 years old.

Obama told her basically doctors have a right to say no and put you on pain killers instead of giving you potentially life saving treatement.

this is not the first time he has said things like this.

Furthermore...

Does anyone know the story of the woman from Oregon? Barbara Wagner had terminal cancer... and she was denied 3x for treatment she desparately needed to extend her life. She wanted to live, she pleaded for help with news orginizations to help her get the help she needed to live.

She was offered only 'comfort care' (end of life councelling) and phsysician aided suicide. (The suicide pill is actually less expensive than the cancer treatment, thus a way to cut cost.)

big bad pharmacuticals who want to steal our money and charge us horrible prices for our medicine, heard her story on the news, and gave her the cancer treatments FOR FREE.

She passed away shortly after however, because she spent so much time waiting to be approved by the state run healthcare (Which is VERY VERY similar to the health care being forced upon us...) that it was too late for her.

Hawaii, Obama's homestate, implemented a similar governement run health care plan in their state which is similiar to the one Obama dreams of passing for all the US.

It failed so bad, they ended the plan after 7 months.

Why do you think many of those with government run health care plans in their countries, come to America for treatment? Because costs have been cut so much to keep costs down... they are unable to buy the diagnostic equipment we have, they are unablet to afford the treatments available here in the US.

People need to understand... our system is very flawed and something needs to be done... and making sure everyone has health care sounds like a great idea...

but at what cost? Do you realize what cost you have put upon someone like my 95 year old great aunt? Like my diabetic grandmother? Like my cousin who currently does not have insurance and is happy the way things are? (he ended up in the emergency room with broken ribs... he had MRI's, X-Rays, CT Scans... the bill was well over $12,000. because he had no insurance and was laid off of work (so much for the stimulus plan saving jobs)... they had him sign up for a customer care program that would relieve some of the bill.

Normally they'd offer a payment plan on the discounted price... but because of his jobless situation... they erased his debt completely. $12,000 gone.

With the new HC plan... that kind of kindness will not be possible.

Now my best friend has a health care plan he's happy with that covers his wife and kids as well. It's expensive as all heck, but it's a good plan. Above all the taxes he and his wife already pays... they're going to be docked another 2.8% if the government decideds they do not like the plan they're under??

He expressed to me how he can't afford 2.8% more taxes. That seems like a small number... but if you only make so much money... it's almost like saying, 1000%...

also... I am ashamed to admit, I'm one of the 10.2% of unemployed. Do you think I can afford the fine that would be thrashed down upon me for not signing up to put my life in the government's hands??

And what will happen if my 95 year old aunt needs Chemo should she develop cancer? She's a spry old thing, she is sharper than I am, and I'm in my early 30's. She walks every day, she eats the right foods and she has a love of life. Her dream is to be the first in our family to make it to 100.

Obama's going to tell her to take a pain pill if her doctors (most of whom will be government appointed and know they have to cut costs) tell her chemo won't help?

Also...

if this bill is so spectacular... why haven't we been allowed to see the latest incarnation? Why has a bill been passed saying it is not accessible to the general public?

Did you know they held CLOSED DOOR MEETINGS about the HC bills...they wouldn't let the republicans in on the meeting... they wouldn't let the public know what was going on... so much for transparency and reaching across the isles.

When one republican senator came up with a good idea on HC, they basically told him to butt out. They always say "Where are the republicans and their ideas to reform HC?" When the republicans say "We have an idea" they say "We don't want it."

Did you know the majority of senators haven't even read the almost bible sized bill through? or that they had others read it for them and just summerize?

And

for all of you supporters of the bill... Do you ever think something has to be up when the MAJORITY of Americans do NOT want Governement run health care? We're not talking just about Republicans. We're talking moderates, republicans, conservatives, democrats, independants... If so many from EVERY party has reservations... somethings a miss.

There are 30 house democrats who are still against this bill.

We are at the highest record number of unemployment in 20 years... Obama's stimulus PROMISED that if we rushed it through like YESTERDAY... we wouldn't see passed 8%.

no matter what they say... the 10% jobless rate... and the fact I just got laid off as well as 10 others in my department due to cutbacks... is proof it's NOT WORKING.

We're suppose to trust a government who spent more money than we have available, knowing we were already in a recession caused by the previous government... and it was to our detrament.

I can talk about the "Jobs saved/created" lie, and how they turned 6 temporary jobs actually created into the fabricated 100,000 jobs... but that's for another time. This is about health care.

but now, we're suppose to trust our government who royally misjudged the economy and their TRILLION dollar stimulus plan.... with our LIVES? With a TRILLION dollar health care plan?

Do you supporters of Health Care reform REALLY understand what just got passed, and how it's going to effect those you want to help?

Did you know that over 40% of doctors are of the age where they can retire or take an early retirement... the majority of them have expressed that if this bill passes and becomes law... they will retire. 40% is almost 80,000 doctors. Can we really afford to lose that many?

Now to Rush Limbaugh who is now out of the running for being an owner of the Biggest losers in the NFL. (Everyone should know the story already - so onto my commentary about it.)

Now they are taking it to the senate floor to protest a PRIVATE CITIZEN with the money, buying a FOOTBALL team. Seriously? That is something that needs to be protested on the senate floor?? A private citizen becoming an owner of a non-political sports team?

Say what you will about Rush (and most of what these liberals are saying they KNOW to be false or misquotes… like ‘Barack the Magic Negro’ which the liberals intentionally forgot to mention, wasn’t a Rush term as they were claiming, The Magic negro was a term coined by a fellow black liberal from the LA Times… (Thus the line where he says… The LA Times they called him that)

but he loved football, he has the money… and who else would really want these losers who couldn’t win a game even if the other team tried handing it to them as a gift, complete with a pretty bow.

Sure they’re all protesting now, but when it comes down to it, would the players really quit?

Stimulus not meant to stimulate?

I'm shocked at Obama's bold faced lie. I watched him on CNN as he said, the Stimulus was not suppose to save the economy, only give it a small boost.

REALLY?

from what I remember he said, it would create all these jobs, 3.6 million was the estimate, it would get people spending again, it would keep unemployment below 8%, it would help keep taxes down for the working class, the housing market could finally recover.

If we DIDN'T support the stimulus we were DOOMED DOOMED DOOMED. businesses would fail, the stock market would be obliterated, people would be homeless.

now it wasn't MEANT to do all of that... it was only meant to give it a boost.

Some boost. Job loss at an all time high (over 8%), small businesses closing, the stimulus bill spends BILLIONS on food share and welfare... but with the few things that WOULD create actual jobs... $700,000 or less. BILLIONS on walfare, a couple thousand for jobs. grrreeeeaaaaatttttt

Obama also said on that interview, the stimulus is working as planned. After all, it cut millions of tax dollars for the working class.

Really... then why did my mom LOOSE an extra $100 a month on her check because of HIGHER federal taxes?

What about when cap and trade goes into effect and the working class are taxed for energy efficiancy? What about when WE Energies has to raise its energy cost by 5 to 7%? What about when property taxes sky rocket thanks to Doyle? What about when realty agencies have to let people go, or close down because the housing market will be ruined by cap and trade.

I am actually LIVID at the bold face LIE Obama spewed on my tv. He promised this stimulus was a miracle drug when he was pushing it, now that the public has come down from it's high and realized the effects didn't last long enough... now he claims "It wasn't meant to help that much people. It was only meant to give you a momentary high. if you want another hit... you'll have to support a second stimulus."

after he claimed our only hope was this stimulus... he now says it was only meant to be a boost, not a cure. Well it failed at boosting miserably too. NOW he wants to implement ANOTHER stimulus.

if it fails once, try it again and pray that it will work this time. Give me a break.

and people still say this man who missed more key votes in his 4 year senate career than McCain missed in 20 and Clinton missed in 7... this man who had no major accomplishements outside of naming a day after someone no one knows... is still qualified to be president?

If this guy lied in our face about the stimulus, do you really think he's ready to stand up against Kim Jong Il or handle a war in Afghanistan?

Notre Dame and Catholics should be ashamed

The one truth that is infallible in the Catholic church is that life is precious, and life begins at conception.

Today thousands of graduates cheered, changed "yes we can" and honored Obama with an honorary degree at the Catholic institution of Notre Dame.

These loose moraled, baby killers should not be allowed to call themselves Catholics... and yes they are baby killers. Anyone who supports Obama is.

Obama is for embryonic stemcell research - stem cells taken from aborted fetuses.
Obama refused to sign the born alive infant act protecting babies born alive after a botched abortion attempt. The refusal to sign has led to many living babies being forced to die lonely, and long deaths.
Obama reinstated a law that sends our taxpayer dollars overseas to fund abortions in other countries on our dime.
Obama has hired a woman to his cabinet that is pro-late term abortion (the murder of babies old enough to survive outside the womb.)

Not to mention - when this supposed Christian man spoke at another college, he made them cover up all Christian religious symbols.
this year's national day of prayer was silent at obama's request. He's obviously ashamed of his Christianity.

He also hired a pro-gay marriage sympathist to his cabinet, and homosexuals are not recognized as a couple that can enter the holy sanctity of religious marriage.

So Obama has done EVERYTHING he can to spit in the face of God... and these supposed Catholics at this supposed Catholic church started chanting "yes we can" in defense of Obama when one graduate yelled out "abortion is murder."

Shame on those who support Obama, who voted for him, and support Notre Dame for their decision to have him speak and honor him with a degree.

The pope should come down hard on these cathlics (who are only Catholics by name, not deeds) and Notre dame demanding the college to remove their Catholic identity from their title, and to tell these obama supporting Catholics they need to repent or face being outsed from the church.

There are a few infallible laws of the church that have not changed since the time of Christ... and one law is the sanctity of life.

In the bible, unborn children are referred to as sons and daughters as if they are already lives...

"They mutilated their sons and daughters by fire…till the Lord, in his great anger against Israel, put them away out of his sight" (2 Kings 17:17-18).

Notice that this practice was a religious ritual. Not even for "religious freedom" can the killing of children be tolerated.

This is not something you can say, "Well abortion is never going to be stopped, and this guy is promising me more money in my check." You can not trade your Catholic morals and beliefs for greedy purposes, otherwise, what good are morals and beliefs if they can be so easily thrown aside like trash?

besides, look... today the job rate is the lowest it's ever been, it's getting lower as more and more business close, file bankrupcy or need bailouts. I haven't seen a reduction in taxes... in fact... we're getting slammed with more taxes where I live which is why I'm moving out of this state. I don't see him reaching across the isles... the only thing he's done is hire a republican to be the embassador to China. Basically someone we'll never hear from who has little to no power. He's broken promises on peace, recently a US Led airstrike in Afghanistan killed more civilians than enemy combatants. Obama tried to deny it, but it was backed up by the red cross and the UN. He also promised we'd be out of Iraq. We're still there, and now he's talking leaving 50,000+ troops after pulling more out. The ones he pulls out will likely be sent to afghanistan instead of brought home.

Wow, we really did a great job going against what we believed in for a few selfish reasons that never came to be. I hope you "Catholics" sleep well at night knowing every day a baby is murdered on your tax dollars in some other country.

Binden.. oh Biden

The US Government has made a point of telling citizens that there is no need to fear traveling. They are not closing the borders, they are not denying entry into the US and if you follow safety and sanitary rules... you should be ok to get on a plane, train, subway or bus.

Biden has basically been set aside for the first 100 days of Obama's administration. He's been quiet... hidden in the shadows like Gollum from Lord of the Rings... "Obama my preccccccioussssesssss"

Then came an interview opportunity. The Obama administration said... "Let's give it to good ol' Joe. No way he can screw this one up."

"I wouldn't recommend my family to travel to Mexico... It's not just going to Mexico, if you're any place in a confined aircraft and one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft," he told Matt Lauer. "That's me. I would not be at this point, if they had another way of transportation, (I would not be) suggesting they ride the subway."

Now the American public are worrying...

"Does Biden know something we don't know? Is there something we should be concerned about? Why are the Mexican/American borders still open then? Why don't they put a restriction on travel to protect the country?"

So now, of course, white house is doing damage control for good ol' Joe again.
