Obama won't accept resignation

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is having a tough week. It's caused Obama to come out and say he wouldn't accept Geithner's resignation even if he submitted it.

It came ahead of a critical week for Geithner, who is expected to unveil his much-anticipated bank bailout plan and flesh out the administration's proposals for financial regulatory reform when he appears before the House of Representatives Financial Services Committee.

While political class praise Obama for sticking behind Geithner... the average joes aren't as kind.

according to Rasmussen, a national telephone survey found that America’s Populists see things from an entirely different perspective. Just 12% of Populists have a favorable opinion of Geithner. Not a very good review from voters.

Rasmussen continues: The findings are especially telling as calls increase for Geithner's resignation following the disclosure that American International Group (AIG) paid its executives $165 million in bonuses after receiving a $170-billion taxpayer bailout to stay in business. Geithner was aware of the bonuses and did little or nothing to stop them.

Why Obama's rating is as high as it is, is still surprising to me. He can't pick a decent cabinet, he makes gaffes that Bush would have been crucified for, according to a gallup poll, Forty-two percent of Americans now say the United States made a mistake in sending troops to Afghanistan, up from 30% earlier this year and establishing a new high... on the heels of rumors Obama will be sending MORE troops (while the percentage of people who thought Iraq was a mistake falls.)
73% of Americans recently polled are unhappy with the state of the nation... after a high on the 20th, Those who believe the economy is getting worse has gone up by a point while those who believe it will get better whent down a point, so the high is starting to go away, the public support for the spendulus bill dropped considerably this month...

yet Obama still seems to have favorable ratings? Are people THAT afraid to speak out against Obama? I mean, his main cabinet picks were people who dodged their taxes, his spendulus bill is officially adding an extra 4 TRILLION dollars to our already large deficit, he and his new administration KNEW about the AIG bonuses back in October... and once he became president he did NOTHING to stop it... He promised to be a President of "Bring em home" peace... yet he's leaving 50,000+ troops in iraq, and putting more troops in Afghanistan...

he has shown the inexperience everyone was worried about...

Biden offered us this wonderful quote recently when talking about how governors spend the stimulus money.

He said he and Obama can't tell governors what they can and can't do with the money, but he CAN tell them if what they're doing is stupid.

Obama has taken a page out of Biden's book it seems. When talking to Jay Leno (I don't know if it was the Tonight's show, or Leno's new show...) when talking about how he bowled a 129 on the white house bowling lanes.

Stem cell ban lift now what Dems expected.

So Obama lifted the ban on Embryonic stem cell research last week. Bush's executive policy additionally had limited researchers receiving federal aid to just 21 stem cell lines created before August 2001. Obama's reversal allows them to use hundreds of other stem cell lines already in existence.

This is despite the scientific evidence that Embryonic stem cells have no more value than stem cells you can get from a living adult or from the umbilical cord of a new born... which has been proven by many treatments on adults who have used their OWN stem cells in those treatments.

However I digress.

Even though Obama lifted the ban on embryonic stem cell research... on Wednesday he signed a bill that BANS the federal funding for said embryonic stem cell research called the Dickey-Wicker ammendment.

the Dickey-Wicker provision still prevents federally backed researches from creating their own stem cell lines, blocking their access to hundreds of new embryonic stem cell lines, usually from embryos left over from fertility treatments that would otherwise be discarded.

This has left a bad taste in many democrats mouths.

This could be why Obama's approval rating has fallen to be almost even with Bush's approval rating around this time in 2001.

First Obama insulted the Brits by sending back a bust of Winston Churchill, given as a gift to the Bush administration... when it was offered to stay in the white house for 4 more years, Obama sent it back.

Now, the British Prime Minister gives Obama a very respectful gift... a pen holder crafted from the wood of a british ship that served on anti-slavery missions in Africa.

In return Obama gave the Prime Minister DVDs, including ET, Starwars and the Wizard of Oz... all of which can be purchased at Walmart for under $20.

It is to be noted, the Prime Minister is not known for being a movie buff.

Remember since early February how I've been saying, whenever Obama stays out of sight, the dow rallies, and when he talks the DOW plummets thus meaning it's Obama, not Bush causing our economy to make poopy?

Time and time again I've proven this to be the case. I have documented every day "dow is up, no Obama." "dow's down today, Obama had a speech."

I have a lot of nay sayers who insist one isn't related to the other, that the DOW has nothing to do with Obama, the stimulus plans, the budget bill, the nationalization of banks and health care reform.

Again, the DOW was up yesterday to the joy of average joes like my mom who has 50% of her pension wrapped up in stocks...

Obama did not have any meetings/speeches, at least none that were heavily reported by the media.

Today the Dow ended almost 300pts down... Obama had a healthcare reform speech today.

THANK YOU Obama for proving my point. THANK YOU for vindicating me and proving that everytime you talk the DOW plummets, everytime you stay out of the media, the DOW Rallies or doesn't lose AS much as it would otherwise.

Now you can stop proving my point for me and do something to fix this already!

I always say "Rush agrees with ME" not the other way around.

I can't listen to Rush every day... yet when I do listen to him, he's usually reitterating things I've already said to other people myself.

Look, Rush is a conservative talk show host on the radio. Occassionally he's asked to speak at Republican functions since he's one of the more popular talk icons.

People listen to Rush either because they share the same points of view, or because they're masacistic and love to be infuriated.

That does not make him the leader of the Republican party. He's just A voice of the conservative movement stating his opinions. He may be the most popular voice, but that doesn't make him THE voice... just A voice.

You put a conservative and liberal in a room and turn on Rush... the conservative will agree with him and cheer for him, the liberal won't agree with him and will jeer him.

that's how things work. A conservative has values and morals and a liberal is a liberal. It would be that way with or without Rush.

Bush's Economy or Obama's economy?

Firstly, the DOW was at 9,000 when the final election votes were tallied. that was considered the last look at Bush's economy.

Secondly, the DOW is anticipitory, not based on the present or past.

People buy and sell stocks based on the anticipation of what they'll do. If the stock shows a likelyhood to be successful, They will buy. If there is anticipation that the stock is losing value, they will sell.

since this is anticipitory and not based on now or the past... it shows that there is little faith in Obama's economic plans, they are anticipating that his economic plans will not be good for the country and will not do enough to stimulate the economy.

So there is little reason to blame Bush, although he will continue to so long as it works... and people will continue to believe it for another month or so. (The die hard liberals will believe it forever.) But others will quickly wise up until Obama starts making decisions that doesn't put a big red zit on the forehead of his inexperience that voters were warned about."

Obama broke the promise to reach across the isle once again by nominating Governor Sebelius... the most radically pro-abortion politician next to Obama.

She is FOR late term abortion and she is AGAINST parental notification when a minor has an abortion.

(A parent will go to jail if a minor skips school, a parent is responsible for damage caused by a minor, yet if a minor has an abortion it's not a parent's right to know about it?)

She has received money from Tiller the Baby Killer who is currently under investigation and being tried for several counts of illegal "any term" abortion for $5000.

So much for trying to reach across the isles. His entire non-taxpaying, porno loving, baby killing cabinet are basically the most extreme of extrimist liberals.

We've gone through a stimulus plan that was suppose jump start the economy.

We've gone through the nationalizing of banks

We've gone through the nationalizing of health care (where Obama basically tells patients like my late father, that they have to wait LONGER between hospitializations than the normal 60 days before you're covered, because hospitals should cure them the first time they're there... cause you know, there's a cure for cancer now that Obama is in office.)

We went through the down fall of Fan and Fred... that the LIBERALS said NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH when they were warned by republicans since 2006 that a downfall is imminent...

And what have WE gained?

NOTHING

Except the liberals ability to CONTINUE to blame Bush.

If it's Bush's fault... why did the stimulus plan that was suppose to be our miracle have a bad reaction from the country instead of being welcomed with praise?

If it's Bush's fault... why did Obama go back on his earmark ban promise, as he's about to sign the budget bill despite 7.7 BILLION dollars worth of earmarks!

If it's Bush's fault... why do people have no faith in the government's ability to handle our money or health?

If It's Bush's fault... why didn't the liberals listen to republicans before Fan and Fred went down?

Bush is no longer in office... Obama has put his OWN plans into action... Obama has written his OWN policies, Obama has hired his OWN cabient (None of which seem to know how to pay their OWN taxes.)

Our president of hope and change has only managed to change our hope to hopelessness.

People still don't understand what they did to our country electing Obama

People still think they made the best decision voting for Obama.

1. He has lowered the definition of "rich" once again. It's no longer 300,000, 275,000, 250,000... it's not 200,000.

2. He has proposed to nationalize banks, which means the government will be even more in charge of our money

3. every time he talks, the DOW drops. when he's silent it rallies, or drops slightly. When he talks it plummets. People scawf at me and say that has nothing to do with Obama. Really? As soon as Obama started talking stimulus, the DOW started dropping. When he was quiet, the DOW rallied 300pts. when he started talking nationalizing banks... the DOW dropped.

you really don't see a pattern there? I mean, REALLY?

4. The housing market was hot when I first put my house up for sale. I had 2 or 3 viewers a day, I even had an offer... that fell through after Obama started talking about Nationalizing the banks. Litterally the next day.

now... I'm lucky to get one viewer every week to every other week.

5. NOW Get this.

Obama wants that nationalized health care... well right now, under certian plans you have to wait 60 days between hospitalizations. (meaning if you were hospitalized for a certain time, you'd have 60 days before they'd cover you for hospitialization again. Which was hard for me because towards the end, my father would be hospitalized from complications to his cancer more than he was out of the hospital.

NOW Obama wants to make that waiting time period LONGER. He says if you go to the hospital, they should make you better before you go out, this would be an incentive.

REALLY?

So obama found a cure for cancer then?

The left is po'ed because It's taking Obama LONGER than he promised, and that he is not withdrawing ALL the troops. (He's leaving a good number in Iraq.)

What I think is semi-funny is

A. where were they when Obama sent of more troops to his Iraq? (Afghanistan) They're mad that he's taking so long to pull out of Iraq, and that he's leaving troops behind, but they're ok with the troops being sent to Afghanistan?

B. have the asked what will happen to the troops? He didn't say troops were coming home by 2010... he just said he was withdrawing them.... no one asked if they'd be out of iraq only to go right into afghanistan.

But no one cares about that... because Afghanistan is Obama's idea. Iraq was Bush's, so Iraq is the worst offender. LOL

of course, Obama had a speech today, and our DOW ended down. Once again proving my point... Yesterday Obama didn't have much to say, and we lost a measley 80pts. Obama gave his Iraq speech today, and we lost almost 100.

We are now 60pts away from 6000.

Under Bush... in March of last year, we were 12,000.

DOW Rallies, Obama speaks, Dow drops...

Like I said in my last blog...

Everytime Obama opens his mouth, the DOW drops... as does my mom's hopes since half of her and my late father's pension is wrapped up in stocks. (so much for hope and change, right?)

This was proven today.

Yesterday... Obama had been fairly silent on Monday... the DOW rallied almost 300 points. Obama gave a speech last night, and the DOW ended down today.

Can't blame this on Bush.

Bush didn't talk about Nationalizing banks, which is one of the reasons blamed for the DOW being down. That's Obama's big plan to let the government run privately own banks so they are completely in charge of our money.

Lack of faith in Obama's spendulus plan is also a reason for the DOW.

Also to note... the Gallop poll said Obama's one month approval is about average to other presidents, but LOWER than Jimmy Carter who was 71% by the end of the first month.

JIMMY CARTER!!

there are plenty of schlubs like my mom whose pension is wrapped up in stocks. when she and my late father first started their jobs as teachers, their pensions were divided 50/50. 50% is a straight payment, and 50% is in the stock market... so when the dow drops, so does my mother's pension checks.

Wisconsin violated by Jim Doyle

Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle is a sneaky little creep.

My brother called me today about something Doyle just put into the 2009 budget.

1st... those with car insurance will be FORCED to buy MORE insurance at higher premiums. That means, those paying for car insurance in Wisconsin, who can bsrely afford it... will have to buy more insurance they can't afford... and they don't have a choice. You know what will happen? There will be a massive swing in the amount of people NOT getting insurance on their cars because they can't afford it.

In this economy, he's begging for stimulus money on one hand because the state's constituants are in dire straights, and in the other hand he's going to force them to pay more for car insurance...

Liberal way of getting people to use the public transportation they keep pushing? A way of getting people out of their gas guzzlers? The only thing he's succeeding on doing, as I said, is causing people to just not get insurance.

He also entered the legalization of Gay marriage into the budget. Why would he do that when Wisconsin overwhelmingly voted that Gay Marriage went against the state constitution?

because it will now go to the Madison court, the most liberal court in the country really, in a city where the gay coupling is high... so he can over turn the people's vote legalizing gay marriage against the will of the majority.

Now that liberals have taken over, we have officially lost our voice. thank god I don't live in Wisconsin anymore. I feel bad for those still living under Doyle.

More forces to Afghanistan

Obama is sending more troops to Afghanistan. 17,000 more troops to be exact. Where are the anti-war people who were protesting Bush now? Where's the "Bring the troops home!" People? He hasn't brought anyone back from Iraq yet... basically Obama has just been sending more troops to Afghanistan.

Libs are already defending this.

It comes down to one quote with them.

"It's Bush's fault."

How? Bush is no longer in office... and Obama promised to pull troops and bring them home. Instead he's redirecting them to Afghanistan, then ordering more troops here in the US to head out to Afghanistan.

Afghanistan was always Obama's Iraq. This was something the anti-war idiots were warned about. But they didn't listen. They just heard the promise of pulling troops out of Iraq, and that was enough for them.

I know you'll all probably ask me what my personal feeling is on the troops. I'm not going to say because how I feel about it is not the point of this blog. My point is this.

Where is the anti-war people now? Where are the "bring them Home"ers now? Where's the MSM's critical overview of the situation like they were there for Iraq?

Let's forget for a moment Obama is inexperienced, has no voting history as he voted no opinion more than he made a decision, and never did anything in the senate other than name a day after someone no one knows.

granted they say charges are dismissed without prejudice so they can be reinstated... but do you think the bleeding heart liberals who want terrorists to have American rights, and who want the closing of Gitmo... do you think they will reinstate the charges and make sure he goes (Safely) away if convicted?

How many newborn babies do you know come onto someone's property and attack pets, livestock, and cause damage?

right now we have a major problem with wolves where I live. there've been several reports of pets getting attacked (some killed), people's property damaged, livestock have been killed...

it's not the wolve's fault... their population is on the rise, and food source is spread pretty thin, and there is more fighting over territory between packs. That is why there needs to be population control, to protect the safety and health of people, pets AND the wolves themselves. People who don't live with wolves in their backyard don't have a common sense grasp on this.

Did you know that the senate recently gave themselves a $90,000 raise stating it would "help stimulate the economy." How is giving THEMSELVES more money going to help US?

At first glance, Illinois Governor Blagojevich's problems are basically caused by his own stupidity and corruption. However, Obama's camp have stuck their foot in the poop yet again, making Obama look suspicious.

They are all up in arms, countering past stories, changing statements made and erasing all affiliations Obama may have had with Blagojevich.

One statement was to a newspaper that stated Mr. Obama would be having a meeting with Blagojevich to discuss his chair replacement. This was back in November. Now they are claiming this statement was a mistake and such contact with Obama and Blagojevich never happened. How interesting they decided to recant that statement... NOW, a month later when the poop hit the fan as they say.

They are also taking pre-emptive strikes to discredit anything Blagojevich says that may link Obama to anything, saying he will try to bring Obama down with him at any costs, before he even mentions Obama by name. Are they worried something will be coming out once Blagojevich is interrogated?

It seems that in addition to his 6/10ths of a billion dollars to move into the White House, the Democratic National Committee spent way more than the $100 million in cash it had raised.

In fact, it took out "substantial loans."

Well, it turns out now, the DNC's debts are far worse than originally imagined. Today, Obama's campaign manager David Plouffe sent another urgent e-mail to supporters seeking at least another $30.

Here's what he said:

"We'll get to work transforming this country. But first, we need to take care of the DNC."

Did we hear that right? Now that Obama's the president-elect, the top priority is the Democratic National Committee?

To drive home the point elsewhere in the same e-mail Plouffe adds: "Before we do anything else, we need to pay for this winning strategy."

Don't worry, you still get the Victory T-shirt for this $30. But it sounds like pretty much everything else is on hold. This change stuff is looking to be an expensive process, even before it gets started.

He’s suppose to be the president of change, yet he’s bringing back all the old Clinton people. This is going to be the Clinton administration with Obama as president. Instead of going into the 2000’s, we’re heading back to the ‘90’s.

I Actually had to laugh at a few of my very liberal friends who say “well I’m a little worried now.”

Should have thought about all the evidence I put before you long before you voted… and you wouldn’t be in this situation. There’s the other issue. Instead of talking about the first steps he is going to take as President to fix our nation, he’s talking about his second term. Small businesses are already starting to cut back, whether it’s laying people off as a pre-emptive strike, or not using profits for charitable purposes as they use to. One small business owner in my area use to donate thousands of dollars a year to children and animal charities out of profits. Not only has she turned those charities away this year out of concern over Obama’s spread the wealth promise, she has also told her employees there may not be enough money in the budget for their regular raises should obama raise taxes as he has promised.

Those who voted for him elected a freakin moron.

Our DOW started dropping the day he was elected and he’s worried about his second term? How about this… DO SOMETHING and you’ll get re-elected… MAYBE. Worry about our country NOW and not about promises you can make to get you re-elected.

I still feel American made the biggest mistake. But they’ll learn their lesson soon if they’re not already learning it by how he is talking nothing is going to get done until his second term. He’s saying this before he’s officially sworn in to be president… and he’s saying this 4 years before it’s even time to campaign for his 2nd term.

All the woman at the protest filled baggies with 83 cents... which equals the amount a woman makes to every man's $1 in Obama's nation and a small group of us took the money down to the nearest Obama headquarters.

We made our case... We told them how women made less than the men in Obama's campaign and that we wanted to give the donations to make up the difference as a point to Obama. One man who was there angrily said "Yeah? Well how much does McCain pay his women then huh?" When we told them $1.04 or more to every man's $1 and that both claims are provable facts...

he shut up pretty quick.

The Obama volunteer said she couldn't accept our "Donation" unless we filled out a donation form to which I chimmed up... "Since when has Obama turned down illegal donations? Only because the press is here?" I mean... dude, does she even know about the illegal credit card donations being taken at Obama's site... or how he took $270 from his destitute Illegal aunt?

Anyhoo. We had a blast at the protest. Afterwards, the carpool I joined to Obama's headquarters were sticking their heads out the windows and shouting "Save our country, vote McCain!" Lol. They were a fun bunch.

It was suppose to be 83 woman to represent the 83 cents, but we had at least 100+ at the rally, and only 5 were suppose to go to Obama's headquarters, and 7 of us went in while others stood outside. It was a great turnout.

We did meet one African American man walking past the Obama office and he started chanting "Obama Obama"

When he was asked by one of our protestors why he supported Obama he said "Cause that's the way it is. He be my man". Well thought out and articulate reasoning there. God help our country.

Not only is Obama a creep for living in a million dollar mansion while his aunt lives in the slums walking with a metal pipe as a cane... he is also a US Senator who didn't even know his aunt (Who he writes about lovingly in his memoirs) is an illegal immigrant he could have helped obtain citizenship.

This post is for my fellow SUPPOSED Catholics who says it is irresponsible to vote based on a single issue, as if the killing of babies isn't a serious enough issue to turn you off to a candidate.

This is WRONG. A single issue such as abortion and the born alive infants act should be the MAIN issue on a Christian's mind. The bible tells you that abortion is a MORTAL SIN.

1. Obama has proven he breaks promises. When he ran for senate, he said he would help lower taxes, he did not once even try, in fact, he did the opposite, voting to RAISE taxes on more than one occassion.

2. He's so extreme, he's not only pro-abortion, he's pro-infanticide. How can you expect him to help educate and protect our children when he allows the most frail and neediest to die in laundry rooms, lonely and suffering deaths simply because they were born alive after a botched abortion attempt?

8. Obama has something serious to hide. Why else would the L.A. Times not release that video tape of Obama toasting Jew Hater Khalidi? If there is nothing on it, why are they waiting till AFTER the elections supposedly? L.A. Times is a major Obama backer... so it must be bad if they want to protect him by not releasing the tape.

9. Obama's aunt lives in the slums of Boston, it is said she walks with a metal pipe, not even a proper cane. She has said she was asked to not talk about him till after the election. In fact, he has taken her donations to his campaign of $250. His half brother George in Kenya who lived in a hut all of his life... His half-brother lives in a hut... his aunt in a slum... he lives in a million dollar mansion... taking his poor aunt's money for his campaign. He can't even care for his family, yet he's going to keep his promise to care for our's?

We're in for trouble. Mark my words, if you don't remember anything else I say, remember this... gird your loins. If Obama gets in office, there will be hell for us all to pay.

Explaining spread the wealth in elementary terms

A caller from Michigan called into the Rush Limbaugh show today to discuss his elementary aged daughter and her school vote. she said she was probably going to vote for Obama. When he asked why, she really didn't know... so he told Rush how he explained Obama to his daughter. He explained what Obama wants to do with our money in a way she could understand.

It's like Halloween. his daughter is going to go trick-or-treating to as many houses as possible between 6pm and 8pm, and get as much candy as she possibly can. (A lot of hard work.)

Then when they get home... dad is going to divide the candy up, then give a portion of it to the neighbor girl.

the daughter didn't think that sounded fair... and dad said "exactly". That is Obama means by spread the wealth.

Now, for those of you not that concerned with spread the wealth... here's the problem.

1st it was for those making $250,000 or more annually.

Recently Obama dropped that down $50,000 to $200,000.

Even more recently, Biden dropped it down another $50,000 making it $150,000, a hundred THOUSAND dollars LESS than the original $250,000.

Pretty soon it will be 100,000, then $95,000, then take from anyone who is working and spread it to those welfare lovers who are able bodied but refuse to work or pay taxes. The ones who claim "I have ADHD so I can't work." If you're a minority... don't worry. Because affirmative action didn't do enough for you... we'll take from any able bodied, working person and take care of you. This is seriously why Obama wants to spread the wealth. This is what the black community are threatening if Obama's not elected.

This was after the cops in the Rodney King beating were found innocent by an all white jury. They said it was about racial injustice.

Yet black people were beating black people. Black people were looting shops owned by blacks, whites, hispanics and asians.

An asian man who didn't agree with the verdict said he was beaten and had TVs robbed from his electronics store. They didn't care that he was on their side about the verdict.

You know, TVs and Radios really help the plight of racial injustice.

This wasn't about race, nor will Obama's loss be about race. It's all about having an excuse to act like the animals they are. Thugs are thugs. These are the same people who would attack, threaten or hurt their own race for bettering themselves and rising above the inner city violence, for educating themselves.

Some say, "I'm scared if Obama doesn't win this will happen... 4 years is not as bad as living in fear."

If Obama wins... this is what it will be like everyday. It will be living in fear for your safety, your freedom of speech, your checkbooks, your health, your livelyhood, your ability to suceed. And you will have no protection and no way to defend yourself.

He's pro-choice. If you are christian, you can not vote for Obama. It is a conflict of what Christians believe. It says in the bible that life starts at conception, and Abortion is looked upon as a great evil. In the Apocolypes of Peter which I quote frequently... "And near that place I saw another strait place, and there sat women, And over against them many children who were born to them out of due time sat crying. And there came forth from them rays of fire and smote the women in the eyes. And these were the accursed who conceived and caused abortion" (The Apocalypse of Peter 25 [A.D. 137]).

Obama is a tax raiser - Tax cuts for 95% of the population is an impossibility. You are either naive or brainwashed if you truly believe he can accomplish this. When Obama ran for Senate, he promised taxcuts... he NEVER ONCE brought tax cuts to the table. He voted down tax cuts several times... and voted on a measure in March and June that would have raised taxes, no matter how he spins it to make it sound.

"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

"I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate," Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. "And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him.
