No Clear Advantage for Obama

Main stream media outlets like PMSNBC and CNN want to tell you Obama has "a great lead" in battleground states, and their "personal polls" show Obama way out in front of McCain. They show battleground states as solid blue in favor of Obama.

However, don't be disheartened. Zogby, a much more unbiased polling company has stated, there is no clear advantage for either candidate. Here are some things to feel better about.

1. as of today according to Zogby, McCain closed Obama's lead from 8 to 3 points. the current poll is now 48% to 45%.

2. In a battleground state that CONSTANTLY votes democrat... Obama had a 10point lead. as of the current polls, McCain pulled ahead by 2points.

3. In a battleground of Wisconsin, McCain closed Obama's 10pt lead to a 5pt lead, and he has a rally in Wisconsin coming up soon.

4. In the battleground state of Ohio, McCain is leading Obama. (and if biden keeps putting his foot in his mouth and saying that coal mines... Ohio's livelyhood... should be shut down, that could increase.

5. In the battle state of Florida, McCain closed the 12point lead Obama had to 8points.

so have heart. things are NOT over yet with a number of undecideds still waiting for the next presidential debate.

What can you do to help?

1. When you hear people in your party speaking with defeatist attitudes, call them out on it with a sound of "I know we're going to win."

2. Volunteer at your local RNC. they're always looking for help with phone calls, door to door survey takers... you may accidentally stumble upon an independent whose mind you can change.

3. Keep the hope alive. VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE

don't assume if McCain is ahead in your state that the job is done and they don't need you. Get out and Vote

McCain/Palin 08!!!

Sadly, in Illinois, we are not in play. Do you know, we don't even get campaign ads? Not even for Obama. It's a given out here, blue state. I still have my signs up though! (only McCain signs in the entire neighborhood!) and I'm very vocal! (as you know!)
