Palin found to have abused her power

the legislative commity investigating Palin in "troopergate" have said she did abuse her power.

The investigative report concludes that a family grudge wasn't the sole reason for firing Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan but says it likely was a contributing factor.

Critics claim Palin fired Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan after months of pressure on him to fire Mike Wooten, a state trooper involved in a nasty divorce and custody dispute with the governor's sister.

What the AP reports and lefty blogs don't mention is that the state trooper was suspected to have made death threats against Palin's father (his father-in-law), and tasered his 10-year-old son, and the saftey commissioner's continued insubordination. on many occassions he went behind her back and did the opposite of what her orders were. This was another occassion. Because of the seriousness of the accussations of tasering a child and death threats against her father, it deemed serious investigation... since Monegan once again ignored her, he was fired.

This is all about a bitter man fired for not doing his job, and her enemies in the Alaskan GOP angry with her for standing up to them on a number of occassions.

While she was found to have abused her power... no law was Violated. While they feel the firing was an ethical violation, it was not illegal.
